Perry Wilson of Northland fly is available for your guided fishing adventure .... either on foot or by boat (to estuaries that can't be reached by vehicle)

Perry was born and raised on Vancouver Island. He knows the rivers and streams like the back of his hand. Whether you’re targeting steelhead, salmon or trout, Northland Fly is at your service.

After years of fly fishing the local rivers, Perry knows where the holding water is; he knows which rocks are likely holding salmon, which ledges the fish lie under. He knows which techniques and which flies produce fish. More importantly, he knows how to get there!

The north end of Vancouver Island is also blessed with large runs of salmon returning to their natal streams in the fall. From the beach, the fly fisher can cast to schools of Pink and Coho salmon as they cruise up and down the beaches. Some of these beaches are accessible by foot, others are not. Regardless of whether it’s by foot or boat, Northland Fly can get you to right spot at the right time.

River fishing for salmon can also be spectacular in the fall. We consistently catch salmon from 5 to 25 pounds on the fly.
